New, Improved Chili Cook-off set for March 27
New, Improved Chili Cook-off set for March 27
For the first time, Chili Cook-off will be held outside the first ever kick-off parade! The parade will go north on Briarhill Blvd. at 4:45pm and will end in the school parking lot where the chili will be featured, along with a silent auction, inflatables, food, entertainment & more!
The 19th Annual Event is set for March 27, 2025, and welcomes all of North Texas!
You will find friends, neighbors, and community members of all ages at the event.
The Chili Tasting is free to everyone and runs from 5-6:30 or until the chili is gone! Winners are announced at 7:45 on the Main Stage.
School-age children pay $10 for a wristband to play on all of the inflatables, get their faces painted, and enjoy the entire evening! Adult entrance is Free. Children under 5 pay $5 to play!
A live auction is held on the Main Stage, along with talent from throughout North Texas. If you are interested in performing, contact 972-350-1000. A silent auction is held yearly also comprised of local opportunities and classroom baskets. There is always something for everyone in this auction! Make sure you check it out!

Featuring local community members and their pride and joy cars, there are only 20 spots available for the first even Chili Cook-off Car Show!
The CCO Committee is so excited to provide another opportunity for the community.
"We hope adding the Car Show will attract a bigger variety of people to the event," Principal Jennifer Mattingly said. " It is such a fun, family night. We want to have something special for everyone!"
Cars should be in place between 4:00 - and 4:30 for the March 27 event. The event includes the 4:45 parade followed by the Chili Cook-off and games/rides from 5-8.

Pig Adoptions Closed For 2025! Thank You!
Pigs will be $20 each beginning Thursday, February 27 at 8am. Adopted plastic pigs will be dropped from a helicopter onto the soccer field at 5:45pm on Thursday, March 27 during the CCO event.
The pig's purchaser whose number corresponds to the number assigned randomly will receive $1,000. Winners will be notified immediately, and the event is live-streamed to included participants from all over the world!
This is the perfect way to get grandparents, extended family, family friends and co-workers involved! Everyone wants a chance at $1,000 for $20. Adoptions may be PURCHASED HERE!

On Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 4:50pm, numbered, plastic pigs dropped from a helicopter onto the playground at McAuliffe Elementary.
Luke sold the winning adoption to his grandmother, who won $1000! Luke also sold the second closest to the pen. The third closest to the pen was sold by Ellody to her grandmother!
Luke also purchased a pig that landed farthest from the pen, which won him $100!
There were 1,207 pigs adopted! Thanks to LOCALBZZ for sponsoring When Pigs Fly!
